After mounting your spare tire, replace the lug nuts and turn them by hand until they are snug. Take the flat tire out from beneath the car and set it on the shoulder of the road so that nobody gets hurt. Turning the release key on your jack will allow you to gradually lower the vehicle until it is fully supported by the ground. Make sure that the lug nuts are completely secured by using the tire wrench. You have completed the task at hand, which was successfully fixing the flat tire.

Finishing Up

Place all your tools and equipment back in your trunk. Store the spare tire back in your vehicle’s spare tire compartment. And that’s it, you have successfully replaced your tire.
